Nestled in the heart of Ozark Mountain Country, 15 miles from Silver Dollar City, is the small historic town of Galena, Missouri. On the banks of the James River, among the sounds of chirping birds and the whisper of the wind blowing through the trees, we welcome you to Pop's Retreat.
Named in memory of George W. Templeton, the owner's father and frequent visitor to Stone County, Pop's Retreat is comprised of four rustic cabins overlooking the James River. Named Pop, Sean, O'Malley and Michael, the cabins are entirely furnished and offer solace from the hustle and bustle of Branson, while still close enough for a quick trip to see the sights.
Constructed of rough-hewn oak logs, much like the ones used by our forefathers, Pop's Retreat cabins have their own front porch overlooking a valley at the James River, with the Ozark mountain range in the background. Each cabin sleeps six comfortably. The cabins are fully furnished with a kitchenette.
RATES
Rental rates are $100.00 per night with a two night minimum. One night's deposit is required. Weekly rates are also available. 10% discount is offered to active duty military personnel (valid military ID required). Please no smoking or pets inside of the cabin.
